In Geneva, the end of spring coincides with the organization of the Bol d´Or Mirabaud (mid-June) on Lake Geneva. This closed basin regatta sees over 500 boats compete on a course of 66.5 nautical miles (75 miles). With the return of summer comes the time for the Montreux Jazz Festival (late June - mid-July). On the program are 16 days of concerts on the shore of the lake for a unique musical experience in the company of the most famous jazz artists in the world.
